How to heal your emotional traumas
Do you have a series of behavoirs in your life that you are trying to change?
You have tried a diversity of methods to change them, but they keep controling your life?
Then, you might have what is called post traumatic stress disorder, best known as PTSD.
This is a trauma that you acquired through some kind of very stressful, fearful, dangerous experience in your past that is still returning in your brain.
An experience that you have not been able to heal or relief and it keeps controling how you react to similar situations in your present life.
If these have been experiences during your childhood that were repeated frequently, then they become complex. Known as complex-ptsd, or cptsd.
PTSD was a condition that many years ago were thought to be almost only a condition suffered by soldiers returning from the front of a war.
Now it is known that millions of people suffer it even if not even being a soldier. Experiences that people through all walks of life went through and going through.
This condition was mostly treated through medication. Now it is known that, medication is the last resourt.
There are a series of non-medication treatments available for people suffering this condition.
Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), prolonge exposure, talk therapy, emdr, and many others.
Of these there is a one that is considered very effective for this condition.
It is known as emdr, or eye movement desensitization reprocessing.
